Visual communication is increasingly important in the research and education community, to provide visual communication between great distance with many locations is even more important to enable collaboration, and share research and education resources.

This demonstration is a snap shot of on going work at Northwestern University, SingAREN, and MREN/CIC institutions using StarTap and vBNS to develop a common digital video platform to communicate with our national and international colleagues. We will use IBM Video Charger on NT server to demonstrate digital video delivery on demand and digital video delivery in real time on an international high speed network.
